Hi guys! I am so happy to share that I crossed something huge off of my bucket list- attending my first New York City Fashion Week! My boss gave me tickets to see the Veronica Beard Fashion Presentation as well as another favorite of mine- Alice and Olivia. Although both of these designers only carry women’s clothing, I was completely inspired.

At my job we dress very trendy and professional and it wasn’t until I went to these shows that I remembered how avant-garde fashion can be. The audience ranged from celebrities, to bloggers, to journalists and everyone in between.

The attendees at the show as well as the models were wearing bold colors and prints. It really inspired me to look at my wardrobe and see where I can start making some bolder choices. I am all for neutrals and classic fits, but being at Fashion Week really opened up my eyes to all the options out there. 🙂

For this outfit, I wanted to show how you can take “Casual Fridays” up a notch. I probably will never have to wear a full suit to work so paring this vintage blazer with jeans is the perfect way to balance sophistication and casual.

My classic go to is a sweater over a button up, and for this look I wanted to challenge myself and show how you can add a pop of color to your outfit with accessories. Orange is my favorite color and it really brings some life to this ensemble.

I got these Gucci loafers for Christmas and they have become my new babies (sorry Wellington!) They go with everything and are so classic that they will never go out of style. Definitely worth the investment. 🙂

Ciao for now!
