Like most people, my style cannot be described as just one thing. Sometimes I am feeling New York chic and other times, preppy New Englander (as seen here.)
I have always been drawn to that schoolboy vibe ever since my days of working at American Apparel in high school. There is something so classic about a layered Oxford and cable knit sweater that reminds me of the Kennedys.
It is one of those classic looks that will never go out of style.
It’s going to be pretty hard to get me to wear anything besides shorts for the next 2 months. I have been cooped up inside in my skinny jeans and my legs are ready to see the sun!!
I have been on the hunt for the perfect chino shorts and found them at an affordable price at Primark! They are super lightweight and you can roll them up or down for your preferred length. I typically like to wear 5″ or 7″ otherwise my legs look pretty short. 🙂
I found these loafers at a secondhand store and they are actually the brand ALDO! I typically like to invest in my shoes a little more but I could tell they were really good quality. However, the bottoms were pretty worn down so I decided to bring them to a shoe repair shop. They retouched the color of the suede and repaired the bottoms leaving the shoes feeling brand new! Definitely worth the money. 🙂
I am a HUGE plant person but these days I have made the switch to picking up fresh flowers weekly from my local supermarket. I have a friend who once said, “It doesn’t matter how much money I have. One thing I always need in my house is fresh flowers.” I didn’t realize it at the time but they add such a warm, calming presence to a room. It is definitely on my summer “To Do List” to have fresh flowers in the house at all times! 🙂
Ciao for now,
