It’s been a busy week so excuse me for my brief absence! I’ve spent a majority of it working to make up for the time I’ll be missing at Spring Awakening Music Festival this weekend…. 😉
For those who didn’t know- I am a huge fan of EDM music.
“You could take the boy out of Staten Island but you can’t take the Staten Island out of the boy!!”
To say I am excited AF would be the understatement of the year.
Since I will be wearing t-shirts, snap backs and cut off jeans all weekend- this outfit is the perfect contrast for an after show at the club.
God only knows I will need a shower after a day partying in the sun so a quick trip home and outfit change will definitely be in order.
This sweater is super light and breezy making it a perfect staple for summer.
I chose to pair it with black for a nighttime look but it could also be coupled with a bright swim suit for a day at the pool. 🙂
I’ve mentioned in previous posts how I love black and brown together. It’s a delicate balancing act but when it works, it works.
I could’ve put on blue jeans but I figured since this is more of a “going out” look that I should stick to black faux leather jeans. 😉
I bought these boots from All Saints a few years ago during my “Cheetah Girl” phase. I don’t wear them often but when I do- they always get a reaction.
With a statement shoe like this, I like to keep the rest of my outfit pretty neutral. These boots are a fave of mine because they’re super chic and the print isn’t obnoxious.
Well, that’s all she wrote folks! Let the weekend festivities begin… 😉
Ciao for now,
