Happy Tuesday friends. Let’s get straight to business this week, shall we? 😉
I usually like pairing dark with light when it comes to my outfits but with the crappy weather we’ve been having, I decided to go all light.
There’s something very clean and calming about this outfit’s color palate that I wanted to bring into the week.
It’s my first time putting a crew neck under a v-neck sweater and surprisingly, I don’t hate it.
Without the white undershirt, I felt like the outfit was missing something.
It added that extra element that goes from just wearing clothes to becoming an outfit.
The first time I saw this sweater in my friends closet, I got serious teacher vibes. It also doesn’t help that it’s from Banana Republic (a store who’s sole purpose I believe is for teachers.)
By pairing it with something young and unexpected like these Adidas sneakers- it balances out.
If you have anything old in your closet that you haven’t worn in a while, try styling it in a different way.
In this outfit here, I paired the same sweater with a leather jacket, dark jeans and my Comme Des Garcons Converse for a more “street style” look.
Just because a garment has a certain vibe, doesn’t mean you have to follow it.
Mix it up, layer it, or change the shoes until you like what you see.
Ciao for now,
