With summer around the corner, it’s finally time to put away those heavier pieces in your closet and make room for the light.
It was a long (but good) winter and now it’s time to open the windows, take a breath of fresh air and inhale the new.
I recently went to Florida and New York to visit friends and family, so my room has been a mess with bags of clothes.
With the help of some spring cleaning and (much overdue) laundry- I finally feel like I’m gaining control of my space again. As I mentioned in my post “How to Make Your Tiny Room Work” I love a cute small room, however, they get messy real quick!
If you’re shopping for your spring wardrobe, I suggest sticking with a neutral color palette.
This season, I am especially inspired by tones of the shore. Smokey blues, tans, grays and white are perfect for a refreshing, sophisticated wardrobe.
With so many loud prints and patterns out there, it’s nice to open your closet and feel at ease. Neutrals transition seamlessly from season to season and you can pair them with pretty much anything!
This outfit is perfect for any outdoor event this spring and you can wear it at a daytime or nighttime event.
I chose to layer white jeans with some of my favorite neutral pieces. The best part about this look is by taking one of these layers off, the outfit changes completely.
So in a way, you get three outfits in one. 😉
Ciao for now,
